Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, but please note that cancellations made less than three (3) days prior to arrival are subject to 100% charge.
Will a security deposit be required upon check-in?
The hotel requires an incidental deposit of $100 that may be settled through cash or credit card upon check-in.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards: Visa, Discover, Mastercard, Amex.
What are your existing promotions?
You could find promotions during the year, available here.
Your stay
What are your check-in/check-out times?
Standard check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
Is early check-in/late check-out available?
Requests for early check-in and late check-out are honored but subject to availability. Applicable charges will be billed for exceeding hours.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all guestrooms and public areas.
Do you offer parking for hotel guests?
Yes, we offer free onsite parking.
Do you offer airport shuttle service?
We unfortunately do not offer a shuttle service at this time. If you are not renting a car from the airport the best way to get here is via taxi. Taxis are readily available outside of the arrival hall.
What is your smoking policy?
All guest rooms are strictly nonsmoking. Smoking is permitted on the balcony only. The smoking of cigars and illegal substances are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Is luggage storage available?
Yes, we do offer luggage storage free of charge.
What voltage does La Vista provide?
On Sint Maarten the standard voltage is 110 V and the frequency is 60 Hz. You can use your electric appliances on Sint Maarten, if the standard voltage in your country is in between 110 - 127 V (as is in the US, Canada and most South American countries).
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the premises or in the units.
Hotel and surroundings
Do you have a gym or a fitness center?
We unfortunately do not have an on-site gym or fitness center however there is a nearby gym that guest may utilize for a fee.
Do you have an onsite restaurant?
Yes, we have one onsite restaurant: The Hideaway Bar & Restaurant. It is open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed for dinner until October 2023.
What airports are nearby?
The Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) is approximately a 15 minutes drive from the hotel.
Where are you located?
La Vista is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten in the neighborhood of Pelican Key.
What's the difference between "La Vista" and "La Vista Beach"?
"La Vista" features units that overlook the ocean whereas "La Vista Beach" feature ocean front units. They both share the same front desk. The facilities and onsite restaurant, "The Hideaway", can be enjoyed by guests at either property.
